CO-SCHOLASTIC
Co-Curricular activities are those which are undertaken side by side with the curricular activities. A co-curricular activity essentially takes place outside a typical pen and pencil classroom experience. It gives the students an opportunity to develop particular skills and exhibit their non-academic abilities.
Different students have different learning styles and perform differently based on the context of learning. However, continuous monitoring of a child’s behavior can help in assessing and develop traits to facilitate the child learning. This type of evaluation method has been implemented in almost all international and CBSE schools in India. We have introduced in our V V Sangha’s S. K. Modi National School to reduce pressure on students. The method takes into account both the academic and non-academic performances of students while awarding grades which helps students to boost their confidence levels for whom academics becomes a challenge to accomplish where in they excel in non-academic skills.
